With the start of a new school year, the Polish Province (POL) began a new postulancy program in Pliszczyn. After a month in the postulancy house the nine candidates began their adventure with the SCJs on October 14.
Two of them come from Belarus, another seven are from Poland. During the celebration, presided over by the vicar general, Fr. Sławomir Knopik, the young people made the act of oblation and received the SCJ cross. “My wish for you is that you have the ability to recognize the Lord’s voice as did the biblical Samuel,” he said during his homily.
The community prepared for the event with a two-day retreat under the guidance of Fr. Adam Raczkowski. It should be noted that the celebration took place on feast of St. Margaret Mary, present in the icon and relics.
