BOURGEOIS, A., Reflections on our Rule of Life, Dehoniana 1974
“Our Rule of Life is not a treatise or a catechism. It starts from “an experience”, the faith experience of Father Dehon echoed in our own personal experience of faith and love to an appeal received and lived as a particular gift and to the response we have made to it by a profession which is a commitment without reserve. From one end to the other, this commitment is expressed in terms of adherence, union, gift, love, offering, availability, solidarity and, more generally, in terms of a living faith and love.” (DEH1974-59-EN/222)
