The Heart of Christ once again blesses the Province of Mozambique
On 24 October, with the imposition of the hands of the Bishop of Gurue Msgr. Inácio Lucas, the deacon Egas Mário Francisco was ordained a priest. The ordination took place in Gilé, on a mission founded by the Dehonians and now animated by the Claretian Missionaries.
With Fr. Egas, first Dehonian of Gilé, was also ordained Fr. Eliséu, first Mozambican Claretian. These two young priests are the fruit of the work and service of the Dehonians and then the Claretians in the mission and parish of Gilé.
Many people participated with great joy and faith in the festive celebration.
To the new Dehonian priest, Fr. Egas, we desire much missionary zeal and much generosity in the service of the Church and the whole people.
May the Lord encourage him to be a shepherd according to His Heart.
