Fr. José Norberto Konrad

Father José Norberto Konrad was born on February 24, 1934 and was 87 years old. He took his first vows on February 2, 1956 and was ordained priest on December 17, 1960.

He was currently living in Taubaté (Brazil). He belonged to the Province BSP.

P. José Norberto Konrad Born on February 24th, 1934, in Santa Cruz do Sul/RS. Son of Henrique Konrad and Helena Helfer. Baptized on March 23rd, 1934, in Santa Cruz do Sul/RS and confirmed on March 7th, 1937 in the São João Batista Parish, in Santa Cruz do Sul/RS.
P. José Norberto made his first vows on February 02, 1956. On February 02nd, 1959 he made his final profession. On December 08, 1960 he was ordained deacon. His Priestly Ordination occurred on December 17, 1960 by the imposition of the hands of D. Francisco B. D. Amaral in the city of Taubaté/SP.
In 1963 he was professor and formator in the Dehonian School, Lavras/MG. In 1965 he was Vicar Cooperator in the Parish of Três Mártires, Crissiumal/RS. From 1966 to 1968 he was teacher and formator in the Apostolic School São Miguel, Crissiumal/RS. In 1969 he was Vicar Cooperator in the Parish of Saint Sebastian (Parada de Lucas), in Rio de Janeiro/RJ. Between 1970 and 1971 he was Vicar Cooperator at São Judas Tadeu Parish, in São Paulo/SP. From 1972 to 1978 he was Parochial Vicar at Santo Antônio Parish, in Rio Negrinho/SC. In 1979 he was Vicar Cooperator in Rondon/PR.
In 1980 he was Parochial Vicar at the Nossa Senhora de Lourdes Parish, in São José dos Campos/SP. In 1982 he was Vicar Cooperator in Nossa Senhora da Candelária Parish, in São Paulo/SP. In 1984 he was Vicar at São Sebastião Parish (Parada de Lucas), in Rio de Janeiro/RJ. In 1985 he was Parochial Vicar at Saint Sebastian Parish, in Vidal Ramos/SC. Between 1985 and 1986 he was at the disposal of Dom Roque Oppermann, Ituiutaba/MG.

In November of the same year he became Parish Vicar at the Parish of Nossa Senhora da Candelária, Vila Maria, São Paulo/SP until 2017.From 2018 until the day of his death on December 19, 2021, he resided at the Convent of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in Taubaté.
