The members of Kerala area had their outing to Wayanad, from 23-25 January 2017. ‘Wayanad’ is a district in the north-east of Kerala state, India. Quite a large area of the district is covered by forest. It has a large amount of dry and moist deciduous forest. Wayanad is also home to endangered species.
They started their journey on 25th night around 10P.M. and they reached Wayanad in the morning. After getting refreshed, they started their day with the Eucharistic Celebration. The tourist sites they visited on this day were Kuruva Dweep [Island], Edakkal Caves, Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary. After visiting these entertaining sites they returned to the place where they were accommodated and all enjoyed the night sleep as the weather was cool and calm.
They began their second day also with the Eucharistic Celebration. After thanking the priest who was kind enough to accommodate all of them, they started our journey. The main tourist sites they visited on this day were Banasura Sagar Dam, Meenmutty Waterfalls, Kappad Beach- Kappad, [Kappakadavu]. After spending a couple of hours in the beach they started their journey back home. These two days were filled with joy, happiness, amusement, sharing, entertainment and lots of fun.
