The BRE annual assembly was held at the Provincial House from January 21-23. It was an important moment for all of the confreres to reflect on the religious journey of the province. The days were punctuated with Eucharistic Adoration, Mass, reflections, discussions, and moments of fraternity. The reports of the commissions and treasurer were also submitted.
Under the auspices of Our Lady of Aparecida in this Marian year, we have seen with the Mother of God that there are signs of hope for our mission in the northeast. However, the challenges are many, and the questions that arise require of every religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus availability, courage and responsibility in the consecrated life and the assumed mission following the total gift of the Virgin Mary. We hope that the fruits of the Assembly will be evident in our daily life through concrete gestures of love and reparation.
