Fr. Ernest Budyn

Father Ernest Budyn was born on July 7, 1935 and was 87 years old. He took his first vows on September 28, 1952 and was ordained priest on June 26, 1960.
He was currently living in Tuchów (Poland). He belonged to the Province POL.

Dear Confreres
On 14 April, 2023 in Tuchów, Poland the Lord called our dear confrere Fr. Ernest Budyn from the Polish Province (POL) to the house of the Father. He took his first vows on September 28, 1952 and was ordained priest on June 26, 1960.
He was the treasurer of religious houses in Pliszczyn, Kraków and Stadniki. He worked in the office for benefactors in Kraków. He was also a vicar in Krosno Odrzańskie and a parish priest in Florynka. In 1990 he was one of the co-creators of the structures of the newly established SCJ community in Belarus. He worked there as a parish priest in Lack and Grodno. In 2013, he returned to Poland and served in the parish in Sosnowiec.
“On a day of salvation I have helped you” (2 Cor 6:2). May the Lord hold our brother in His eternal embrace.
