Fr. Serge Tagne

Father Serge Tagne was born on November 6, 1979 and was 42 years old. He took his first vows on August 12, 2001 and was ordained priest on April 25, 2009.
He was currently living in Douala (Cameroon). He belonged to the Province CMR.

30.10.22 .- The province of Cameroon is in mourning since this morning. It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Father Serge Tagne, scj, whose body was found lifeless early this morning in his room in his local community in Bonabéri I (Douala, Cameroon). His death plunges us all into confusion, as no one expected it. Even his fellow community members had not noticed any serious illness in the father, apart from the headaches he had been having lately. We pray for the repose of his soul.
Before his death, Father Serge had just been assigned to this new community for studies in nursing. He has served as a curate and parish priest, as a provincial in charge of religious life trainees, and many others…
