In the WYD of August 1997, more than one million faithful took part, a number that exceeded four times the predictions. The theme was: “Master, where do you live? Come and see”. At the Longchamp racecourse, during the Mass on 24 August, John Paul II exhorts baptismal fidelity and renews his mandate to young people.
