Léon Dehon: Mission and Church, Money and Nation. Four perspectives

The Italian version of David Neuhold’s study on Fr. Dehon has been published by Edizioni Dehoniane of Bologna: “Mission and Church, Money and Nation. Four perspectives on Léon Dehon, founder of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus”. This work offers a very innovative approach to the person of our founder, examining his personality, his acting and thinking in the contexts indicated by the title of the book. As the Superior General, Fr. Carlos Luis Suárez Codorniú, writes in his preface: “The approach of Daivd Neuhold … has allowed to emerge an original and novel intuition. In its desire to grow in the truth, the Institute will find in this wise work on Léon Dehon an essential contribution in this regard”. We recall that this book is the fruit of a collaboration between the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and the Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Italian translation was made by Fr. Stefano Zamboni (ITS), the revision of the text by Fr. Angelo Arrighini (ITS). The book is for sale on the EDB website, www.dehoniane.it, and on www.amazon.it. English and Spanish translations will follow shortly.
