On Wednesday, March 28, two candidates from Vietnam arrived at the Ottawa Airport to begin a two-month ESL session at the Ottawa Separate School Board. They are Canh Xuan Tran and Phi Van Phan. They are first-year20180329_124244 philosophy students at a Jesuit College in Ho Chi Minh City. For both of them, it was their first trip outside of Vietnam. Both are from the same village in South Vietnam and both are from a large family. It is a real pleasure to have them with us and to be able to help them in acquiring a better grasp of English. In the meantime, we will work on the age gap between them and the rest of the community. They will return to Vietnam on May 28.
